b. Items to Wear or Keep Accessible in Your Day Backpack in Your Boat
Consider storing them in zip lock bags to keep them dry.
You may wish to check the weather (www.weather.com) and add warmer clothes if it will be cool.
Insect repellent
Secure sandals with ankle strap or tennis shoes that can get wet
Sunglasses with strap
Sun hat preferably with chin strap

Swimsuit or moisture-wicking underwear under your shirt and shorts; you may choose either short or long-sleeved shirt and shorts or long pants.
Rain jacket and pants (waterproof); optional fleece jacket
Wide-mouth, refillable personal water bottle (approximately 24+ oz. like a Nalgene or a Camel Bak). We will provide the water.
Any essential valuables (purses, wallets, cell phones, etc.) should not be left in your car. It is better to pack them securely in your dry bag (preferably inside a zip lock bag) and take them on the river. Centennial Canoe is not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings.
