Beginning at the confluence of the San Miguel and Dolores Rivers and winding up in Gateway, CO, this 30-mile section offers spectacular scenery and western history.

Learn about the prehistoric people and past civilizations who lived along the rivers of the Colorado Plateau. Examine the rock art and structures they left behind with Denver Museum of Nature & Science expert, Michele Koons.
