The Small Potatoes music duo has been a hit on our canoe trips for many years. They hail from Chicago and have performed in concerts across the country playing everything from “Celtic to Cowboyâ€, a mix that ranges from country, blues, swing to Irish.
August 8th - August 10th, 2013
Geography Professor, Dr. James Dunn, University of Northern Colorado, will be facilitating this trip as you learn about the power of water, wind, and weathering in a western environment. Labs and field exercises will be conducted throughout the trip as appropriate. This is a private trip for UNC students taking the course for credit.

Away from all the city lights, the wilderness night sky is unbelievably clear allowing us to gaze at the constellations, Milky Way, and maybe galaxies beyond! We will have a Denver Museum astronomy expert, Dimitri Klebe, on this trip providing interpretation and evening entertainment.

Join State Historian and expert interpreter, Bill Convery, as he brings this wild and remote area to life with fascinating history. The spectacular canyon country of the Colorado Plateau, including Ruby and Horsethief Canyons, features majestic walls of red sandstone and offers some of the best canoeing in Colorado. Open to the public and sponsored by History Colorado.
