Do both on Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado's Stewardship Adventure on the Colorado River. 2014 marks the seventh year VOC, the Grand Junction Bureau of Land Management, and Centennial Canoe team up to remove drought-causing tamarisk trees while enjoying a four-day river trip down the extraordinary Colorado River.

When you canoe Utah, you won’t soon forget it. The White River, flowing westward 34 miles from Bonanza, Utah, near the Colorado and Utah border, has been referred to as the best canoeing in Utah. It is certainly the most remote wilderness area of any flat-water river stretch in the West. Few boaters have discovered the wild and secluded beauty of a Utah canoe trip through the White River Canyon.

The star gazing trip has become a yearly tradition and sells out fast. It's a great way to make astronomy interesting and most of all FUN for all ages. Away from all the city lights, the wilderness night sky is unbelievably clear allowing us to gaze at the constellations, Milky Way, and maybe galaxies beyond! "Free night at Fiske Planetarium for clients & friends will be Tuesday, June 16, from 7:30 to 9 pm."
