Denver Museum of Nature & Science paleontologist, Kent Hups will be your time travel guide as you paddle your way into the age of dinosaurs. Explore fascinating rock formations and fossils from the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods and learn about the dinosaurs that lived there. Open to the public.
July 18th - July 20th, 2015
Get away from city lights and explore magnificent canyons and deep sky objects on a canoe river trip. Using various tools, learn to find objects in the sky and discover how scientists study planets, stars and galaxies. Understand how learning about the Earth helps us make claims about far away worlds, including the possibility of life. Your facilitator, Dr. Sanlyn Buxner, has her PhD in Space Science Education and teaches at the University of AZ.
