With over 200 rocky, forested islands to explore, the San Juan Archipelago is a superb kayak destination. You’ll experience the fun of paddling and camping on remote islands accessible only by boat! These pristine waters are host to over 80 resident orca whales plus minke whales, harbor and Dall's porpoises, harbor seals, river otters and a variety of bird life. With sublime views of Mt. Baker and the Olympic Mountains this trip is a Northwest classic!
July 13th - July 17th, 2016
Paddle along one of the West’s longest stretches of tranquil wilderness water, just north of Canyonlands National Park in eastern Utah. You will marvel at colorful sandstone walls hundreds of feet high. Vast canyon systems and water channels branch in all directions, inviting hiking and exploring and includes some petroglyph panels. This is a private trip for the Skimeisters group.
