Green River Canoeing: Eckerd College Alumni Trip

June 21st - June 25th, 2017

Canoeing in Utah is an unforgettable odyssey. Paddling the spectacular 60-mile section of the Green River from Crystal Geyser south of Green River, UT, as it winds towards Mineral Bottom, just north of Canyonlands National Park, is the trip of a lifetime. Exclusive trip for Eckerd College Alums.

Yampa River Canoeing: CO School of Mines Ecology/Art--River to Desert. Open to Teachers and the Adult Public

June 23rd - June 25th, 2017

While canoeing, camping, and hiking, we’ll investigate the natural environment of the Yampa River, its riparian ecosystem, and the surrounding desert and learn how human, plant, and animal life in these special areas have adapted to this unique environment. And, like the native peoples, we’ll be inspired by our natural surroundings to create art and poetry. Qualifies for 1.5 teacher recertification credits; open to the public.
