PRIVATE TRIP FOR OLLI MEMBERS AND THEIR FRIENDS (adult only). Colorado canoeing on the Gunnison River will spark your sense of adventure with opportunities for hiking and exploring, floating in your life jacket and camping along the river’s edge. During this Colorado canoe trip, archaeologist, Lucy Bambrey will be your facilitator as you paddle through high walls of red sandstone and canyons filled with fascinating archaeology.

This spectacular canyon country of the Colorado Plateau, including Ruby and Horsethief Canyons, features majestic walls of red sandstone and offers some of the best canoeing in Colorado. This is a private trip for NCA.

Immerse yourself in the wild and secluded beauty of the White River Canyon near the CO and UT border. Naturalist and museum educator, Tim Blesse, will be your guide to the wildlife, plants and night skies along the way. Keep an eye out for wild horse herds, antelope, deer and beaver. Trip is available for 1.5 teacher re-licensure credits and for general fun for the adult public. Also includes free workshop session at Denver Museum 6/11/16.
