August 11th - August 13th, 2016
Geography Professor, Dr. James Dunn, University of Northern Colorado, will be facilitating this trip as you learn about the power of water, wind, and weathering in a western environment. Labs and field exercises will be conducted throughout the trip as appropriate. This trip is for UNC college students, alumni, and adult public.
August 12th - August 14th, 2016
At the end of each day after paddling through red sandstone canyons, sample a variety of craft beers from the Boulder Beer Company, Boulder's first microbrewery. A representative will explain the differences between beers and how they're made. It promises to be not only educational but tons of fun! This trip encompasses the Escalante/Dominguez Canyon Wilderness Area with petroglyphs, waterfalls and great hiking.
August 12th - August 14th, 2016
This spectacular canyon country of the Colorado Plateau, including Ruby and Horsethief Canyons, features majestic walls of red sandstone and offers some of the best canoeing in Colorado.
