Did you know Costa Rica has…

  • Marine animals include the leatherback turtle, West Indian manatee, humpback whales and dolphins.
  • Land mammals include the two-toed sloth, giant anteater, armadillo, spider monkey, howler monkey, jaguar and ocelot.

The scenery in Costa Rica is spectacular and life forms are diverse from curious monkeys to industrious leaf-cutter ants; from birds, butterflies and beetles in rainbow colors, to the slow moving sloth.  With so much to see and so many places to explore on this eco-adventure, there is never a dull moment!
